I have an ad for Park Plaza President's week, but the photos are no longer coming up randomly. They stopped some time around the last big classifieds update.

    Thanks.

    Thanks.

    Random where?

    Did you feature your ad?

Featuring your ad will get it featured on just about all of the pages on the website and those are displayed in random order.

    The classifieds page itself:

    http://www.timeshareforums.com/forum...lassifieds.php

Shows the last "X" classifieds listed on the main page (I could post a number but I need to look it up in the script). All open adds are browsable threough the "Categry" pages inside the classifieds.

    http://www.timeshareforums.com/forum...y&categoryid=1

The search features will bull up classifieds that meet the criteria of the user doing the search.

Now, classifieds only show up if they are OPEN! When a classified expires the seller will get a PM letting them know that their 60-days is up with a link to relist their ad. If a seller does not relist their ad, it will not show up anywhere including the search pages!

I have more code changes planned for the classifieds but I needed to get the main site upgrade done first. I want to improve the interface for sellers to tell how many classifieds they have in the system, how much longer they will be open, if they are featured, and how much longer they will be featured.

To confirm if your ad is open, go to the Classifieds page and in the bar above the classifieds section you will see a link that says "Your Ads". This will search out your ads for you so you can relist them if they are closed.

    I hope this helps,
    Ken

        Good news!

Also, the search engines have spidered our classifieds quite well so you are also advertising on the internet as a whole. I hope as we grow that we will get more people interested in joining our community and the community itself can benifit from being here.

Look at these classifieds on MSN...

        http://search.msn.com/results.aspx?q...sr_classifieds

Now, note I searched for the website but if members have good descriptions and titles in their classifieds you might just get a buyer from Google, Yahoo, MSN or who knows...
