  • Can't get the "Home" page

I can't get the "home" page.......when I select "home" all that I comes up are the classifieds, and the online members. No threads in between them.......

BTW, I'm still keeping track of how many times you annoy me.

Yes the home page seems to have been reset. I just click on new posts or forums list (in website navigation) to get to the forums.

      Did you see this:

      http://www.timeshareforums.com/forum...ad.php?t=18026

Do you see a "Welcome to TimeshareForums.com" page that starts with:

TimeshareForums.com is a timeshare based community that is owned and operated by timeshare owners for timeshare owners and users. There are no hidden agendas to get anyone to buy, sell, or trade anything! Instead, we are here to talk timeshare from an owner's perspective.

We have a worldwide membership that are here to talk about timeshare resorts, vacations, or life in general. We have a sizable staff of volunteers that help keep the website running in the context of our Code Of Conduct. You can see where our members are from as illustrated by our membership map:
If so, it is working! I will add another portal for NEWEST ADDITIONS but we needed to get a more formal front door for our guests and prospective new members. That new entry page will change as I work on it!

          Ken,

No, the page is blank, other than the classifieds on top, and on-line members underneath the classifieds.

Try logging out and looking at this page again:

            http://www.timeshareforums.com/index.php

Does it look different when you are logged out then it does when you are logged in? Perhaps you need to refresh your browser (HOLD CTRL while hittng the refresh button in your browser?)

I tried logging out, as well as copying and pasting the link you provided....still nothing. I'm gonna try refresh, as you suggested.

Just tried what you suggested using....held Ctrl, and hit refresh...still nothing.

                    Ken,

I open the file....on mine, the only thing that I see are the last two boxes on the page. The classifieds, and the online users. Everything above it is not appearing.

OK.....I got the page. One the right hand corner of the page there is a + sign, that needs to be clicked in order to get the page.

Sorry, I didn't notice it before.

Ken, Close. I don't see the new heading, but I see the old heading. Instead of website navigation ..., I saw Site Communications ...

So we are not suppose to see the new posts now?

OK, I made a couple changes for just that page so that the modules will not collapse... It also sounds like some members have custom settings for their styles so I have forced the style of that main index page as well now...

                          Please try again:

I got exact the same you have on that pdf file now. I am so used to that old home page to just see the new posts I have no idea how it counts but so deeply depend on. Is there a reason that feature should be gone?
