I have a couple issues I am still trying to fix... One of the big ones is that I had the server set to redirect anybody that comes into the site from timeshareforums.com to be redirected to www.timeshareforums.com.

The WWW is critical for some browsers or the members will not be able to log in or they will not see the images on the site.

I think I have that fixed at last...

When the hosting company reset things for us they reset the server so all of those little updates got lost but we are just about where we were before the server had it's nervous breakdown...

If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.

BTW, I'm still keeping track of how many times you annoy me.

You laugh... when I got up this morning at 6AM the hosting company still didn't have a fix or suggestion...

While I had backups I was woried the site would be down until Saturday as there would be no way I could take a day or two off work to get things back up before then.

Frank and I need to talk but I may end up getting us a backup server where if something like this happens I will be able to redirect people while the site is getting fixed. This type of problems seems to happen to use every few months (I need to figure out how often) but as we grow and the server gets a heavier load we will see this happen more often and while having the site down for a few hours is annoying for you all it causes major heart burn for me!

We are getting to the point where we should be considering a dedicated server anyways so perhaps this is something that I will need to research in the near future.

          Ken,

I feel for you. I can only imagine the anxiety that you must go through when the site goes down. It must be horrible.

This sounds like a great idea. I hope it wouldn't be to costly, or difficult to implement.

In less than a year this forum has caught and pass some t/s forums that have been operations for years.

              Congratulation to the team.
