Fix Multiple page view

Is there a way to fix this:

1. Search New Posts
2. Click on a thread with more than one full page of posts
3. After clicking on the thread topic, have the LAST page displayed instead of the FIRST

I know other bbs systems have this. It is a pain to have to click on the last page of a series of pages...any fix out there?

It is an option but then people would have to go to the last page and read from the last to the first to understand what was talked about... It would be a really rough way to use the website...

That is why most people do it this way...

There is a little box after the name of the last poster that will take you to the page with the last post. As I often look at the site only hours apart, I employ this approach to save time. I know this works when I go to new posts, not sure about other views.

That's right. Click on the little arrow next to the person's name who posted last. This will take you to the last post, not the beginning of the thread.
