  • Looking for some testers... New Timeshare Weeks Calendar in the house!

This was no simple task but I have finally managed to get a Timeshare Weeks Calendar running on the site. You can get to it from the right navigation off the "home" page:

    http://www.timeshareforums.com/

I really culd use some help checking it out... This should be correct and it should work with any year for a Friday, Saturday, or Sunday date! It should also show any years with a week 53!

I will be working on making the output page look better soon but I need to confirm my not-so-basic script is working before I make it look pretty!

    Thanks for any help!

Looks good. I had a problem finding it at first, as the birthday calendar is on the nav bar next to the Faq.

I need someone to dig up some calendars and confirm it works for several years... I will be working on the back end to build that into a better page that will be useable on it's own but this was a quick and easy way to get the script started.

I was thinking about my ski trip in the year 2025....

Now I know when to take my vacation!

            http://www.timeshareforums.com/week_...rday&year=2025

This is a VERY complicated script, but quite powerful!

I plan to create scripts for this that will allow a person to get a list of dates for their week for a period of time (say 10-years)... Now that the date codes are worked out, I can use this to do some pretty slick stuff!

I had a few calendars, but lost them with my hard drive that crashed.

                  Ken,

How did you get it to show 2025? When I click on the years, it only goes to 2013?

click on the link and just change the year to anyone. Look like the calc stopped at 2038 (not that I expect to do some planning after that year). And not work until 1903 (it is too late to do any planning now I guess)

                      Jya-Ning,

The timeshare calendar on my Home page doesn't have any link. The year is a drop down box to choose from. I tried highlighting year to change it manually but that doesn't work.

I mean this link. Sorry can not write anything right these days.

(You can actually get that link when you click on go, it shown in your address, then just change year part. I actually try to type week and range, does not work as I thought.)

Awwwww, I went to the website link up above in my menu/toolbar area and changed the year to 2020 and it worked.

                          Thanks Jya-Ning.

                              Thanks....

And as stated there are limits built into the programing language but it should work for a LOT of years... I will be making a dedicated page for this in the future that will have more options...

I actually needed the date codes to allow me to work on the reviews and while I got the basics down I decided this would be an easier project I could do in a couple days.
