I have never seen anybody do that with a forum so I am curious why you might want that?

As Tony said, this is a real bad time of the year for me as I have been working 7-days a week and all kinds of extra hours for my day job. It's the nature of my work but everybody has projects they want done before the end of the year and I work as a consultant so when they can't do it themselves they hire my company to help them out. This has been a really busy 4th Quarter and I hae another month and a half to go

Sometimes I am just curious as to when a thread started, rather than when the last post was made. Sometimes a topic is repeated and I like to know if this is an old thread or a new one. Sometimes a thread lays around for a long time and then someone finds it way back on page whatever, and they post. I just like to know how long it's been around.

I figured if it was an easy thing, like clicking an option, to add the starting date, then cool.

When I looked earlier there was a date and time beside the name of the thread starter. If you look at 'Recent Threads', the Title, username and date column shows precisely that.
For example Dating Threads, JLB, Yesterday 3:06pm

Edited to add: That information only shows when viewing 'Recent Threads'
