Site Slow Today - Possibly Due to Addition of Scrolling Banner

I have also turned off the module that was on the right that showed current Lotto values. That little module did a whole lot of work each time a page was refreshed that had it.

Turning that off alone will improve site performance some!

Still REALLY slow for me

It takes up to a full minute for each page to load in every time I click on a thread. I have high speed cable internet, using Safari on a Mac. I haven't had any slow down with any other website that I use. I've cleared my cache (multiple times) but that doesn't help. Never had this problem before with this site.
