  • New Posts toggles

I know this has been discussed before but I could not find it.

Since there are so many sightings at this site would it be possible to add a sub menu under 'New Posts' which allows us to pull up new posts with sightings and one without sightings?

Sorry if this has been discussed in depth before.

When you go to Website Navigation and click on Home, it shows all of the new posts without the exchange sightings.

There must be something you can turn off so only new posts show without sighting. Also you can also click on the TS4MS logo in the upper left hand corner. I will be waiting to see what the more knowledgeable people say.

The main page does not include sightings for this reason. As posted, you can click the TS4MS logo on the upper left to get a list of the latest posts that will not include sightings.

Now, you may also remember that I hacked the forum code to allow you to selectively OPT OUT of seeing new posts in some forums. This is in your user options:

        http://www.timeshareforums.com/forum...do=editoptions

At the bottom of that page is an option to "Exclude Forums from "Get New Posts"... This will also filter out these sightings or most anything else.

        Hope that helps!

Thanks. Ok....yes I am aware of the timeshare forums option which does not list the sightings. But I guess I am greedy. I would like the same format as new posts gives me without the sightings and basically with a click of the mouse.

That base page is cramped and does not have the same options as the new posts toggle.

I want the sightings available and do not want to opt out either.

So my suggestion is putting the option to view new posts in the same format with or without the sightings.

It is not criticle....just a want if possible. I know there are many other priorities, not enought time for all of them, so this is just a suggestion if and when the opportunity presents itself.

          Thanks.

That would likely not be possible... Well, anything is possible but that would be a whole lot of work for the benifit especually with each upgrade requiring all of the custom code to be redone...
