    Problems with inserting photo images in a post.

    Cindy had asked me to post some pictures for her but this feature doesn't seem to work anymore even if the photos are on the photo server here. An ActiveX pop-up window used to show and you had to click on it to accept it and then it would work but this pop-up window doesn't pop up anymore.

    Could you please check if it still works for you? I had problems with it the other day too but the photo image was stored at another photo server and I thought it had something to do with that.

      He is so cute, Sydney! Do you get an ActiveX pop-up window with a sound? I used to but not now. I wonder if it is a security setting? Does anyone know?

              Does any of you get an ActiveX window pop up and then you have to click OK? I used to get that but not anymore since the last update. My MS security updates are up to date so could that have changed something too? I use IE Explorer 7, version 7.0.5730.11 but it didn't work with the Mac either.

              How do you have your settings in your "User Control Panel" at the bottom of the page under "Miscellaneous Options" at the "Message Editor Interface"? I have mine set in "Enhanced Interface - full WYSIWHG editing". Should I change it to "Standard Editor - Extra formatting controls"?

              TIA for your help as I can't figure it out for myself.

                  Emmy, I have never had a pop-up even before the upgrade. Sounds like something to do with your browser & not this site.

                  Thanks for the "cute" comments. Needless to say I agree with you.

                  Fern, I just uploaded two photos to the photoserver for you. One of the 4 boys and one of the 3 girls. The boys outnumber the girls once again!

                          OK, I found the problem and it was an update with the Java console again. I got a warning to update. This is a test photo to see if it really works. I believe it does.

                          I always got a pop-up window on both Windows machines but not on the Mac but not now.

                            Well, it works now too on the Mac. Nothing was updated here as far as I know unless the Mac does it automatically.

                            Ken, did you change something on your end? Anyway, it works again for me and no annoying pop-up window anymore either that I had to click on or the photo image wouldn't show. Strange, that you guys never had this.
