HOA confusion

I have finally figured out what is making it difficult for new members to my Grand Summit HOA.

On the page where it has the lists of all the HOA, each HOA has a name like Grand Summit HOA which is a hyperlink. Then there is another sentence which says that to join you click on the HOA page.

What many people do not realize is that they are supposed to click on that second hyperlink HOA page. Instead, they are clicking again on the title link Grand Summit HOA and then they go round in circles. Quite a few are just giving up in frustration.

Let's make this clearer ( and faster):


My solution is to change the text so that the second hyperlink does not repeat the word HOA, but says click here to request to join instead. I would like that to bring them automatically to the screen where they submit their request to join rather than to any descriptive pages about the HOA.......unless you put the hyperlink click here to request to join again at the top of that introductory descriptive page.

Would like to do another invite list this weekend..............is this a simple fix?

Hudson, They have to put a check in Join group and then click on the bottom where it says Join Groups to submit the groups that they want to join. I do not see why there is a problem.

They are not recognizing that click HOA page is a hyperlink. What they do instead is go above to the Bold Title Grand Summit HOA thinking that that is what you mean by "HOA page". When they do click on Grand Summit HOA it brings them to the page which says that there are no posts in this forum. THat puts them at a dead end.


So what if you also put a "Join this forum here" button on the no posts page.

Without a button there, they are lost and some are just repeating the same error as in the top paragraph above.

Is that clearer?
