Display of initial date that thread started

I normally use Members Tools--> Todays Posts, to read messages.

I notice lately that I'm seeing threads that may have been started months ago and a current reply resurrects.

Other views that I use occasionaly do show the initial message date.

Any chance of enabling that feature across the board.

That is not a standard option (at least I am pretty sure it is not an option) and doing this would require me to recode portions of the forum software. I really don't like doing that as over the years we have been running I have done that a lot and then with each upgrade I need to recode everything again.

With new versions being released every few months, I just can't keep doing this anymore...

So, the best fix is likely for you to use this view:

It shows the thread start as well as the last reply info. NOTE - This is not part of the forum code either, it is an extra script that was added to do this!

You can see both info (start date of thread and latest replies) by clicking on "Website Navigation", then "Home".
