I have never received emails regarding threads I subscribed to or posted in. Today I received an email about a linkback in a thread I posted in. Does that mean I am finally receiving emails regarding subscribed threads or does it mean something else? I read the FAQ regarding linkbacks and I *think* that's what it means....LOL.

I also dont receive e-mails about subscribed threads. I have tried to fix it in the past, with no success. I wonder how many others have this problem?

I get them every week.
You read a post and then you subscribe to it and it will ask if you want emails sent to you or not.

Thanks Emmy. I am set up as "instant e-mail notification" for all subscribed threads. For some reason I do not receive them. The problem is likely that the site is too customized. The problem is, if we go to a standard code then people want the changes so there is no winning.
I plan to do another major site upgrade perhaps in the next month. When we do, we will start fresh and rework the site from the ground up again. The last major site rebuild was last August as I recall.
With some luck, the new version of the software will address some of these issues.Comment
