Anybody having problems tonight?

I have a small script programed that sends me an e-mail when the site is generating errors and I am getting pounded here tonight...

Is anybody seeing a problem?

That was ONLY 8-seconds... In that time I got 39 e-mails about server errors... So, I thought I had a bigger problem then I did. My guess is that the server just had a bit of downtime and people could not connect for a few seconds but I can't tell at this point.

It was a bit slow now and then. Working good now.

There was a noticeable slow down around 6:30 PM- took me 3 minutes before the site page opened. Lots of spiders logged in at that time.

The server time I posted may well be off by an hour because of daylight savings time so perhaps the hosting company did a database reboot to fix the performance issue. I think we are just about as big as we can be with our current hosting with this database as big as it is.

I am trying to finish up some loose ends and then I will try to spend a couple weeks getting us moved to a bigger server. I am pretty sure that Frank and I plan to keep the hosting account we are using now for "extra" stuff plus a more powerful one that will dive the main forums.

Frank and I will share more once we have some time to decide what we are going to do and when but because we will be adding a second server we should not have too much downtime with this upcomming upgrade.

My time could be off- I've got some clocks on the old daylight savings date and I didn't want the bother of changing them back only to redo them Saturday night.

I had a few funny pages returned when trying to view and post before. It righted itself within a few minutes though.
