I would like to get a chat going. We have hardly used it. Do we do a planed chat or do we do a weekly chat. I think Caribbean areas are a good area to talk about but we need experts to host. Any one up for the task?

I moved this to a public forum for more oppinions... We spent quite a bit of money and time to get this chat on the forums, lets try to use it a little!

I'll try to get going on both a Maine and New Hampshire chat, but not until at least mid April. I want to line up some knowledgeable people for them. I think we need to get a weekly, twice weekly or daily chat established to get people used to the chatroom.

I could co-host an Aruba chat if you would like it. The problem for me is the timing....perhaps mid April on a Sat or Sunday? Maybe Grayfal might be coaxed to co-host it with me...she has a lot of Aruba knowledge.

Sure Frank. It will have to be at 7 PM or later and I will not be able to be there every day. Must have time off for vacations, too. Do we really need someone with superpowers there all the time ?

I have been meaning to get to this.

Avery had a great idea at the NY meeting. About splitting up the ex-op searches between the usual suspects.

A) so we don't trip over each other double posting

and

B) it will take less time than the average 3 to 4 hours that is currently spent doing them each day.

The chat would be an excellent place to discuss how we should section the pie.

I think Pat would be a better choice. I have only been to Aruba once but turned the place upside down for 2 weeks straight. < Did anyone notice the bridge collapsed the second week I was there?>

I can definately bring general caribbean knowledge on several islands having been to many, but the one I would have any expertise in is St John and we all know how often a trade occurs there.

I will try to check in on this Thursday...and I will look at my calendar and come up with a date I am available for the "organized" chat. Mid April looks possible, maybe on a weekend? Would a Sunday night be a good choice?
