What is the deal with the "reputation" square? What does it mean to be "on a distinguished road." I've never seen user have "reputations" on other boards, so I'm curious (also, my mother always told me to watch out for mine... )

If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.

BTW, I'm still keeping track of how many times you annoy me.

Hmmmm...I checked the little icons in the upper right hand corner of your post and there is a scale...when I put my cursor on it it said 'add to artsieang' reputation! I didn't open it, but guess we can put some nice notations there...or???????

I just opened the scale and "we" can approve or disapprove of your post. But I don't see where anything would show up...nor does it explain what that means. On mine it says I have '10 reputation points'. Now what does THAT mean?

Reputations are not used on the site at this time other then to allow people to post feedback on other members. I have the abuility to set the system up such that if people are causing problems that they will get negative markings. Access to the site or member groups then could be defined by a persons reputation...

So, if someone was a royal PITA the members could actually vote these people into a Banned state... It might be useful for a site that doesn't have a full and active staff but I have not set this up here (yet).

Ha, I have 10 reputation points, too. But it doesn't show which post(s) got them or who posted feedback. Probably just as well...

I think 10 is the points that i give everybody for being smart enough to join our community

Sounds like I need to do more with these in the future... These are powerful if used so I may look at adding some perks based on great feedback from the community...
