  • Property Donation Group

I recently heard of Property Donation Group from what I thought was a reliable source. When I asked for some application forms, they were from AI Vacations and American Timeshare Closings, both of which I have veiwed bad comments about on this site and TUG. For all my searching, tho, I can't find any thread mentioning a connection. What gives?

Maybe no one made that connection or had to go that far to smell dishonesty. Have you seen these threads:

Yes, I did see them. That's why I'm confused that PDG deems to be legit, and yet IAVacations and America Timeshare Closing - obviously connected to PDG, have many negative reports.?.

        IA and American Closings

Any complaints made against IA or American Closings are simply due to the fact that closings sometimes take longer than expected. These companies work with many clients and brokers who sometimes don't make it clear enough to timeshare donors/sellers that closings can take up to 120 days. Other than that there would not be any complaints.

I just googled "Property Donation Group". This thread came up second right below that link to Property Donation Group.

I just thought it would be extremely important for anyone checking out this company to view this thread as well:

          Property Donation Group - Scam

I don't know if this particular company is a good one or not. However, there are some practices that they use that can harm consumers. Read the above thread to learn about what those risks are. If you are comfortable with the risks, then consider them.

If you are not comfortable with the risks, then run.

Based on the fact that they posted personal information about a poster who complained about them, I would suggest that you assume you are dealing with an unethical bunch. Oh, they also told a lie here.

              Pdg

You won't let it go that I keep writing back even though I said I wouldn't if you disrespected us again. I guess you are admitting to that. I only write back to make sure the consumer gets both sides of the story. As for using the complaining "non-clients" real name, wouldn't that illustrate the fact that we have no actual client complaints if we are able to figure out who the "non-client" is simply based on their post. I would think so.

I do not normally post about these companies if any thing I say keep away but if I had to do business with PDG I would only deal with Vanessa and her only, She has not acted as other companies that come here and try to spam and run she has stayed and duked it out with most of us here and has held her own.

After dealing with this disreputable outfit for some time now, I can say that it is best to stay away from them. They have lied, posted favorably about themselves under several names, insulted other members and done whatever they can for self promotion. If you want to get rid of a timeshare all you have to do is register here free and post it in our freebie forum. Unlike this so called donation group or the post card companies we will not charge you a fee to do so and someone here may actually take your timeshare off your hands.

                    Property Donation Group

Hey I'm Back! I want to ask something TonyG. Do all of the timeshares on the Freebie Forum get taken off peoples hands or is there just a chance? Because with our program we accept all timeshares at all times, guaranteed.

I don't ask so I don't know. I wonder how long you will be back for ? How much do you charge to accept a lousy week ?

Let's not go through all this again, please! Sorry, but I just don't think I have the energy to work through this "It's not PDG- it's our alter ego that has the bed reputation" conversation again...

Hopefully this will lay it to rest. I'll offer timeshare owners a risk-free liquidation option. No upfront fee, no song and dance, no confusion..

Anyone interested in paying to be relieved of a timeshare week- simply send me a private message through this forum, or fill out this online form Sell Contact Form.

I will be happy to help you liquidate. When the property is transferred out of your name- you will pay a $695. transaction fee to the brokerage.

I'll pay for the advertising, guide you through the contracts and closing, and you'll save more than $2,000 by not dealing with one of these scam groups....

                            Lousy Timeshares

Thanks for the clarification TonyG and thanks for not swearing at me again. I also agree that $2,000 in fees would be too much. PDG charges anywhere from $0-$999 maximum depending on the timeshare and that includes all properties at all times without advertising anything. We don't just take them then try to go find someone who wants it. We handle transfers immediately and guide you through the contracts and closing as well. Thanks again.

                              Property Donation Group

We just used PDG's services and donated two units. Very professional group and Ron was able to ease my thoughts on the process.
                              Thanks PDG.
