    Thanks for the info

As a certified peanut butter addict, this article is great .

However, to be honest, I am going to continue to eat ANY and ALL brands -- healthy or not. I have never met a brand I did not like.
    hope this info helps,

I never see any peanut butter brands other than the main 2 or 3. I am going to start looking now since I have not had P&J in a long time and now have an urge.

We buy it at Trader Joe's and not only peanut butter but some other nut spreads too. I like the almond butter from Trader Joe's. Do you have a shop near you or not yet?

Smucker's is the best! Also Maple Grove. We like the natural kind in chunky.

I don't feel too bad about this article, because we don't get Skippy or Jif or any of the sweetened ones; they taste too sweet. Once you start eating the good brands of peanut butter, the junky ones will start tasting awful to you.

Emmy I'll have to give the Trader Joe's a whirl. I'm afraid I'm a Skippy creamy girl and I don't have to look at the label to know it's one of the bad ones.

Rarely eat it but a good PB&J hits the spot sometimes, or better yet a PB/banana/honey sandwich. YUM!

L2, I second that....... Everything bagel soaked with honey that is dammed up with extra crunchy PB to keep the honey in place... sandwich in the sliced banana. Makes for a real great breakfast with my coffee.

I am hungry, and really wish I had a banana in the house!!

Settled for PB on crackers. A far distant second.

Dang this thread. I had to stop and make me a great pbj , probably not the healthy kind (scared to look) and some freshly made home made strawberry jam that a customer brought to Kelli for xmas. The jam was some of the best I've tasted. Shaggy

Glad to see I'm not the only adult who craves a good P & J sandwhich every now and then. It brings me back to my youth right away. Too bad here in Spain I don't see any P & j so I'll have to wait til I get home to indulge.

                          Me too!
And so does Steffi-the 10 year old puppy. And especially the crunchy crust of the pb toast.

As long as it's just roasted peanuts and a bit of salt, I'm happy. I like Smucker's natural crunchy, although we get the store brand at home. Stick to Smucker's when traveling because some natural brands they do not roast the peanuts first!
