Swap & Trade Books, Trade Music, Swap Video Games, DVD & Movie Exchange - SwapTree They have been around a few years now. I signed up when the first started but never used them. I got an email from them and took a look at the site and am now thinking of getting rid of some of the stuff I no longer like. You can swap your old DVDs, Cd"s or video games for free for other DVDs or Cd's or Video games.

Yes Frank, I have - I joined last February and have done 60 successful and one unsuccessful trade.
It is easy, I pay for my postage and insurance online thru swaptree, print the label at home and just take the books to the post office.
Most books are between $2.75 and $3.25ish to mail.
I enjoy looking thru the site. I also use Amazon.com to find the ISP code of books I would like to get in the swap and add that to my want list.
A really nice service.

I find it easier to print the label and pay for it all ahead of time.
I like to use the swaptree label as it already includes the tracking part of the postage and I can track my packages online thru the swaptree site.
Yes, there is feedback - I gave negative feedback to the one person who did not send me the book i swapped for.
One time, I said I would swap a book with someone and I realized I know loner had the book.
I explained it to my swap partner and I sent it from amazon.com used book service.

They also arrange 3 way trades that all 3 people have to agree to.
How it works....
You list your 10 books that you have to your account.
You list the books you want.
They then tell you if have a match....or if u don't have a match, they will show you what IS available for the books you have listed - so sometimes u will see something on that list that u just decide to take - kinda like search online..
It is a fluid inventory - today, no one has a request for your "A is for Alibi" but tomorrow someone does and they have a book that you want.
I think over the past year, I listed about 90 books - and I have received books and then traded them again - for a total of 74 trades.
And u never know who will want a book, even if it is an older one.
