      Thanks for the reference to your Uncle's restaurant. We will definitely be in the San Diego area next year checking out colleges for my oldest son, so a side trip to El Cajon will be on our list of things to do.

              You realy never had one? Here is a way to make them, This was to only american version I could find the way she makes it she used chicken which is not the way you make it your suppose to use beef. If you want to see the ther way do a search for arancini

                    They are balls of rice with a coating, stuffed with chopped beef and peas. When you cut into them it all gets mixed together and is delicious!

                      Shaggy, don't feel bad, I live in NY and had my first rice ball about 5 years ago - and they are REALLY good but 'heavy'.

                      I had really yummy grits at Bobby Flay's Mesa Grill on Saturday - but have not had collard greens in quite a while.
