  • I slept 14 hours straight

I was in SD coming home Tuesday., I never went to bed Monday cause I had a very early flight and had to leave the house at about 4 am. Got home at about 5pm ate watched my head hit the table during dinner then we went up to watch TV in bed and that is all I remember woke up in the afternoon sometime and ran down stairs to feed the dog and let the dog out. Every thing now is like a daze I think I need more sleep, 4 cups of Coffee did not a thing to wake me up.

    Are you sure your awake?

You might still be asleep and dreaming all this.

Most people sleeping this long would have let themselves out to themselves before the dog. Maybe you should go back and check your bed and see if its wet or your still sleeping because this might be a out of body experience.

I am pretty sure the bed is dry. I do not even remember going to the bathroom but I know I must have I think. I am still dazed but I know I must be coming out of it since I am now starting to get hungry.

You must have needed the sleep. You are probably running yourself ragged.

Glad you were able to catch up on your sleep, and are coming back from the dead.

              Cruise sleep

Years ago we flew from California to the East Coast to catch a cruise and we had worked are full 8 hour shifts starting at 5am caught the flight at 3pm and had a lay over in Texas before continuing on our way. We boarded the ship in the late afternoon and decided to nap till dinner. When we woke up we thought it was 11pm (inside cabin) and it turned out to be 11am the next morning.
              Here I am 20 years later and I can't sleep more then 5 1/2 hours a night.

I have most likely 5-7 cups a day. I really, really, like coffee.

                        Hmmm...

Try some Kentucky Moonshine, Frank. May take the hair off, but it'll wake you up.

Sounds like me on my days off. I work 3rd shift 5 days in a row and have 2 off. One day is usually a catch up day for sleep. Sometimes i have been known to sleep for 16 hours.
Coffee is what keeps me going at night.
