Last year I bought the new Lincoln MKS, I love this car more than any car I ever had.
Any way the car has been stalling on me and I got stuck in a bad spot but was able to get it back home. I called Lincoln and they sent a car to Tow it yesterday. They were suppose to come in an hour Any way the way it works is that while Ford sets up the Tow, I am suppose to call the dealer to get them to take it in, ford said they had an approval from there operator but I double checked to be sure and good thing I did that. The Ford/Lincoln Dealer said they do not have the tech to look at it until Monday so even though it was Tuesday they could not help, both techs were in School, Nothing like planing on keeping one at the shop EH. How can a dealer not have a tech for the full week is beyond me. Any way the Tow still has not come yet so we found another dealer that can take in the Car the next day.
So we made an Appointment to have the car towed between 11 and 12 noon. I called the tow company and told them I was free from 10 am on. Noon came and went. I needed to get the car in by 1 pm so they could order the parts by 3 pm. They finally show up at 1:30 pm to pick up the car so I now know that it will not make it there in time to order the parts. I called the dealer and he did me a favor he said the sec it gets here he would have it looked at right away which he did with about 10 minutes to spare. But when he looked at it that is when the real problem started. I thought it was the thermostat because one hose was hot going out and the other hose was cold going in. The problem was a Rodent ate the wiring harness leading to the therostate and that was not covered he said. So I call Ford to see what they can do for me, Nada not any help at all, They said it is not covered I said how can you make a car that costs what it does and leave the wires so an animal can chew threw them like it did. They again said Sorry so I then said is this how you take care of a loyal costumer who has bought 4 Lincoln's, 3 ford Explores and a Ford Taurus along with a Mazda which they owned then. I told them this would be the last Ford car I ever buy again, It would be more feasible if you paid the $600 bill then have me go away pissed. Got no where with there Supervisor. I hate to say this but I am now might be driving my last Lincoln, Not sure I am going to live up to it but right now I can not believe that tis is how Ford treated a loyal customer.
