Frank, as you know, many posts have been made on TUG referring people here...including multiple personal appeals by you yourself when this site was new and you were looking to grow your readership. There's no problem with that. As a matter of fact, a link to this forum has been posted on TUG several times. You're welcome to post it again if you'd like.

Mark, in his post, was quite critical of TUG and some of its moderators for allowing what he considers to be inaccurate information to be posted there. I very politely suggested that it might be better for him to address those concerns directly on the website where he feels the problem is. I'm sorry you find that insulting.

Steve we post many links over to Tug in fact I would say we post more than double that is posted OY sending back here, that is not what I am talking about. Both sites are here to help people.
My problem was not with Tug My problem was with you being the person that came here to post. I would not have said a word if it was Brian or another member that came here and posted. What I am saying is you were a Mod here that never posted, I felt you were here only to see what we were up to and report back, You left after I confronted you for never posting, You just came here snooping around daily, you had said you understood and you have not returned to post for over 2 years but you have come over to look once in a while. You only posted now to try to get Mark to go OY. Steve sorry to say this but I thought you were better than that.

I do not post here anymore but I was the one who recruited most of the alternate timeshare companies to join tstips when big frank myself and roger were involved in the site. When I recruited Sfx to join I spoke to the owner who stated he had no desire to have anything to do with Tug , I will not state his reasons.

He was concerned that if the company would be treated properly on this site meaning no false information he would be glad to have Mark be apart of the site. when Frank took over this board with ken he came onboard as well. Tstips was the first timeshare site to give the alternate exchange companies a voice and I take full credit for that.

Frank has done a remarkable job with this site and I commend him for treating our guests the way they should be treated.

There was some concern OY about the post by Mark that was copied and placed on TUG. ( not wanting to use material from this site without permission.) I have since placed a link to this thread and left posted only a short highlight of Mark's original post.

Others have objected to the very same things. You know that. You also know that dissension is not allowed & that objectors get dealt with severely.

John, you don't understand what I am saying. Let me put it another way, hypothetically. I don't read TUG and someone posted that I was arrested for prostitution. I do however spend a lot of time on TS4Ums. Someone tells me about the post on TUG. I wouldn't be posting on TS4UMs that someone posted on TUG that I was arrested for prostitution and I wanted the people here to know it's not true. I'd be setting the facts straight on TUG. Now do you understand?

I'm sorry you took my post wrong and, obviously, the reason was personal. It wasn't what I said...it was that it came from me.

Since you have made it so personal, I will explain as I think you have misunderstood my participation...and lack thereof...here on TS4MS. I was not some spy sent here by TUG a couple of years ago. I was interested in the site. The reasons I stopped posting were these:

1) I was kind of offended by the Goomba room...if I remember the name correctly. The fact that there would be a private room with adult conversation and links to pornography on a timeshare site was a bit shocking to me. Maybe I was naive...and maybe it's a result of living in one of the most conservative states in the nation...but I didn't expect to find that here on this site. I'm not being critical...just commenting that I was uncomfortable with it.

2) There was a lot of TUG bashing here a couple of years ago. I mean, REALLY a lot. I got tired of that. You tried to discourage it, but it kept popping up over and over again in thread after thread. Furthermore, some people just could not seem to let go of old greivances. Based on posts by you and JLB in this thread, I unfortunately can see that you still haven't.

For these two reasons, I decided to stop posting here and just read. After a while, you told me that you didn't feel it was appropriate for me to be a moderator as I didn't post. I said I understood that. So, I kept reading the site for a while but eventually stopped visiting very often.

Then, when I read Mark's post from here that was copied and pasted by someone on TUG, I thought I would check it out. So, I came back here. After reading the thread, it seemed to me...as it apparently does to Pat H...that Mark would be wise to address his concerns directly on TUG. So I invited him to do so. I also read other forums, and posted a comment about the change in Hilton HHonors points. I was thinking that maybe I should start reading here more often and perhaps posting as well.

After the less-than-warm welcome back, however, I think that perhaps my decision a couple of years ago to stop posting here was correct.

Hey you were invited in the G room by me, It is not for everyone and if you did not want it you could have opted out at any time.
As Far as the Tug bashing, I did everything I could to put an end to it so much as to even have a very private Steam room where only members with 200 posts could go there. Every time I moved a tug bashing post there the threads would die out in a day. I myself have no problem with OY, In fact there were times in the past that we both tipped each other off on what was going on. I was also helping moderate on Timesharetalk so my thing was not competition but to help out no matter where I was. I even help out on Face book on some of the travel links there. I stopped helping on Timesharetalk cause it was one sided. Paul at first came over weekly then stopped even though I posted there daily.
Just so you know I still get emails from Tug Members asking for help from my reviews there. I have never turned one person away.
If you had posted once in a while here even if it would have been 3 months ago, I would not have said a word about your post. Now that we said our peace I am willing to move on, You are welcome to post here if you like and even join in on our Fantasy Football again next year.
