If you retire/stop working, notify auto insurance

After being laid off in Nov, I called my insurance company to tell them I would no longer be driving to work. The agent said that since I wasn't working, I also wouldn't need salary replacement. My premiums dropped by over 15%. I mentioned it to a couple of the other people who got laid off and none of them ever gave it a thought.

Actually the big savings on Auto insurance is that you won't be commuting anymore. When I stopped commuting, I notified my insurance company and my rates dropped drastically because of not commuting and a big drop in annual mileage.

And I get paid under the table or maybe I should say under the sheets for that job so....................
