Rain changed to snow sometime overnight and less than an inch on the deck so far. Prediction is 4-8" for today. Haven't gone anywhere since Monday and will be running short of some grocery items (salad fixin's) starting tomorrow.

You will be fine as long as the LIRR is running - do not fret.

            So...much...snow...

I just paid three guys to shovel our sidewalks. There must be at least 15 inches out there.

I just dug out my car here in Bergen County but there is 5 feet behind the car of 2+ feet high snow until I could get to clean pavement and I can not drive thru it - will be stuck here until tomorrow....

Have a TS4MS' get-together here (Nuevo Vallarta near Puert Vallarta)! The weather is beautiful here as our storms are gone now as we had several with high winds and lots of rain.

The beach and ocean are beautiful and I love to rub it in to your poor souls back east. The good news is that spring is around the corner for you and you will forget about the snow.

It took me and my wife 4 hours to shovel, My snow blower has never worked so hard, We had 2-3 feet of snow which was to much for a 5 hp snow blower, I had to first try chopping it down and would go over it 2 to 3 times before hitting bottom,
My son was so snowed in this morning at his School that the door to the dorm was fully engulfed with snow that they could not open the door.

We drove into Manhattan to see the play cause parking in Queens to get the train was not going to happen. In all my years of living here I have never gotten into the City so fast and I was able to easily park on the Streets of Broadway, In fact I parked at a meter directly across Letterman's Studio.
Most of the City has been cleaned up, I wish I could say the same for Queens where many of the streets here are still full of snow, What has helped was the Temps which is melting the snow even at night.

BTW we might be getting another storm Tuesday or Wednesday night.

Unreal and I hope that you will be spared the other storm next week. Sorry for rubbing it in about our beautiful weather here but the snow can't last much longer so you'll have good weather too.
