I wonder if they see my big "resale" sign hanging over my head like a neon sign. Hmmmm.
I've wondered the same thing. People complain about being bothered in Gatlinburg by sales hawkers, but the few times we've been there and would have been willing to tour, we get no offers.

We haven't been to Dixie Stampede since DD stopped working at Dollywood. Employees get such a big discount that it's cheaper than just buying a restaurant meal.

You start getting anxiety attacks because spring break is only 9 months away and you haven't made an exchange for it yet.
I thought I was the only one getting jumpy.

... when house hunting you ask if the living room has a pullout couch and if the secong bedroom has a queen or 2 full size beds

You save all the little free coffee packages and shampoo so that when you do a short exchange you've got enough to cover you for a few days. I'm actually doing this, this morning. So sad.

              Roly,
When I stay in hotels I ask the maid for extras and save them. They usually leave us extras and I use them in my TS's that don't give shampoo like the beach ones near me that are not hotel affiliated. I hate travelling with big bottles of anything.

A few people at my office travel a considerate amount of time and don't use the hotel shampoo and soap. They bring them back to the office and I grab as many as I can. The only time I will take a regular size bottle is when it's almost used up, so I can throw the empty container away at the TS and don't have to cart it home.

Oh. I thought these were for the "OMG I'm out of coffee in my house" emergencies.

I admit to scarfing the cute little WorldMark salt & pepper shakers for future vacations.

My wife takes the extras and brings them back for a woman's shelter. I guess they help out a program where they are getting ready for job interviews, or to get back into the main stream of life again.

These must be the same as the ones I saw at Wyndham earlier this month in Branson. They are thimble sized and come attached to a little plastic holder. I took them home too because they are just the cutest little thing I've ever seen in a TS. For some reason most TSs don't have salt & pepper. Happy to report that BG Solara has little packets of salt & pepper here but not cute like Worldmark/Wyndham.

I don't use those free coffees for emergencies. I can't afford to run out of coffee so I'm always on top of it. Just too addicted to run out. Can't function without it.

Wonder if it is because people steal them so the next person doesn't have them?

Yes, we bundle them up and put them in the food collection box. The homeless shelter has a big sign saying that they will be happy to take toiletries. We go through so much shampoo and conditioner in our house that there's no point in messing with the little bottles--might as well give them to people who need them.

No, I don't think so. They're disposable containers.
They only have enough salt to use 3 or 4 times, but they are just too cute.

                            • when you are up until 1 in the morning when you know you have to be up at 6 am the next day and what you are doing is checking back and forth between Ebay and resort reviews to see what would be the best deal. And you are looking at resorts that you have never heard of which is only about 10% of what is listed, because the other 90 per cent you have already memorized the reviews and don't have to check. You can tell without looking whether or not it is a good deal.
