Wanting inground or aboveground pool, small/rectangle...where to buy?

We've never had a pool, but we're moving to a new house right now, and there's a very small space, 10 x 16, that would be perfect for a small pool. In Mexico we see lots of small inground "dipping pools" all the time. But here in USA it seems everything is big...and round. I'm only seeing 15' diameter circular pools and bigger. Any leads on where I might be able to buy an aboveground or even inground or onground smaller rectangular pool? I've been googling and so far no luck. Thanks!

P.S. On a brighter note, found the perfect 4 person hot tub yesterday for our small space. But still dream of having a pool!

Carol, there is a pool that I have seen advertised in many home magazines that might work for you...it is 8X12 (but other sizes available) - and it is a 'current pool' - you can swim laps in it, it can be heated....so kinda half spa/half pool. As you might imagine, here in eastern LI, they make pools to fit any spa and shape - both gunite and vinyl lined. I will try to find the info and link it here.

We've had an inground vinyl liner pool (which I built the structure for) for about 18 years and I've used this company for a myriad of products relating to its design and useage.

They handle most of the major domestic liner manufacturers and have an online dimensioning system for designing your own liner. While our pool is a regular rectangle (helluva lot easier for me to build), many options are possible. Just use your imagination.

If you want to design and build your own (there are a lot of cool kits out there now, which make it much easier), let me know. I have the experience (and the backache to prove it)
