We went to the other dinner theatre Mideval Times in June 2010. It was excellent..The audiance was involved in cheering and the children loved it. Next time we go we plan to go to the Arabian Nights. Reviews we read said both of the above shows/dinner were great. Great post and I await reading the responses myselft...

Pirates is a smaller venue. The show is good and full of daring acrobats. Good crowd participation. Food is good. They have recently upgraded their menu. Admission includes a pre-show and if you attend the later show, it also includes the "Bash Party" where you can dance to disco. Kids love it.

Arabian Nights is in a huge arena. The horses and riders are truly talented. The show has some humor to it as well. The food is good. They also have a coupon that you can get a free drink pre-show.

Both standard admissions include general seating. You can upgrade for a fee and get guaranteed first - third row seating.

I thought Pirates was a poor show with poor food. Maybe it has changed.

Did the Pirates Show two years ago. Not a bad show but better suited for kids. Good family entertainment. Food was what I'd expect from a place that serves cafeteria style food but, it was just as good as any other the other similar shows such as Midevil Times. We've done these types of shows several times. I don't think you'll find a great deal of difference between the two other than one is Pirate themed and the other has horse tricks. All in all good family entertainment.

EDIT: Check that. We did the Pirate Show in California. We saw Midevil Knights in Orlando. We've also done the King Arthurs type show in Las Vegas but have managed to skip Dixie Stampeded in both Pigeon Forge and Branson (go figure). Still they were all basically the same but slightly different themes.

We went to Arabian nights. Not good for us. The show had no plot and was just plain hocky (sp?, like:lame). The food wasn't that great either and it was hard to see what we were eating. Not sure if it was even edible, but you didn't know until you put it in your mouth.
