bad day for our friends who had a 45th wedding anniversary party planned since January.
a golf outing at 10 o'clock and a party tonight, for 80 people, most from out of town. It poured for hours, lightning and thunder too. AT 1:45 the pro closed the course for the day. Everyone had been waiting there for hours.
Then this so called friend who insisted that we go together for a gift, and that I pick it up, called yesterday and said she decided to go somewhere else and i should ask around if anyone wants to go together with me for the gift.
So I believe it really is Friday the 13th around here.Comment

My sister was born on August 13, 1947. She is the one who owns the week at the Galleon in Key West where we went a few years ago.
She is celebrating with a friend at a casino near Duluth MN this weekend. We will be there (Minnesota) to celebrate my birthday in a few weeks.
