Today they have a $30 certificate for $15 to a steak restaurant chain near us. We are going to pick up a couple. They have great potato soup there.

BTW I just saw on woot an advertisment for Groupon and it says it is almost like 90% like woot on todays woot Woot® : One Day, One Deal?

If you log in and go to today's deal, on the top you can click on "get the daily email". From there you can choose the city you want, and they will send you the deal from that city each day.

I've gotten three or four so far. I can do the New York City ones or the North Jersey ones, so I have more options. My favorite was the $25 credit for a website called Nutty Guys that sells dried fruit and nuts. It cost $10 and I had a $10 coupon from referring a friend. The shipping at Nutty Guys was very reasonable, so I ended up with a pound of pecans, a pound of dried pears, and a pound of dried California apricots for $5 shipped! I'm going to order from Nutty Guys again, too.

This morning in NYC they had $5 for $10 of Beard Papa cream puffs! (If you haven't had them...they're DELICIOUS!!!) I was all excited b/c I work near a Beard Papa and I live near a Beard Papa, but it's only good for the Beard Papa on West 76th St. So it doesn't make any sense to save $5 on cream puffs and then spend $4.50 on subway fare to get to West 76th.
