I was so saddened to hear this. He was always so helpful and friendly here on the boards. He was always one I wanted to meet. Besides his family the first person I thought of was Big Frank. It's tough to loose a friend. shaggy

          Wow! I'm devastated.

I sent my condolences to Jan. In all my internet trevails, Ron was always my go-to guy.

Wow! Damn! Our Florida Januarys will be one person short forever.

          What a great guy!

I got a nice note back from Jan. She's a sweetie and was great for Ron.

Yeah Jim, our gettogethers won't be the same without the conchman. Jan said she will probably go back north, and I know how much she loves Florida. I wish I were down there and hope she has some friends or famiy around her. Oh i just can't believe this. It is funny, but I always hear his voice in my head, telling me to clear my browsing history, run CCleanser, etc. I ran it in honor of him.

Same here, always able to picture him, cuz he's so unique. He wasn't up to golf this year for the first time, but he and Jan made it to dinner, in their little convertible. (How we all got in their little convertible for dinner . . . Groucho Marks )

My favorite memory will be of our moon bet, from two years ago when we were all at Lighthouse, and I bet him the moon would soon be coming up over the lighthouse outside our condo.

                    It did.

For those who were around, and know what I am talking about, he is the first RAT we have lost.

So sorry to hear the sad news Pat. I remember you talking about him when we were playing golf. If we had been there in Jan instead of Nov we would have had a chance to meet him.
