How to get money to someone without ID

My brother lost his wallet either on a plane or an airport today.
He arrived in Oregon with $10 in his pocket.
Took public transporation to the hotel and on his way cancelled his credit cards.

Of course -hotel couldn't check him in now because credit card was cancelled. I gave him my numbers so he has a room.

He will be hooking up with coworkers for in a few days - but in the meantime he could use a bit of cash.

Anyone know how I could send? He will have no ID to "receive" it.

I think I would try calling Western Union to see if they can help you. You used to be able to give them a password to the other person to be able to get the money. The other thing you can do is have your brother call is credit card companies again and asked them if they can help him get money.

They will do it with a test question and knowing in advance that he doesn't have ID.

Might the hotel use your cc with your permission, for a cash advance?

I know there would be a cc charge for advance, but less than western union?
