Seems to make sense to me. I always slow down and if possible move another lane over when I run into police vehicles on the side of the road. I still can't understand why when they pull someone over on the right why they often walk to he driver's side window and place themselves in more jeopardy.

It would seem to take more personpower than available to enforce this in most cases (one police vehicle pulled over and another to ticket the violator), but it makes sense as a general "rule of the road."

Nevada has a moveover law as well. And if you want/need the Highway Patrol on a freeway there, instead of 9-1-1 you dial *NHP.
