I don't see that we will have time, this year, to make use of our remaining Wyndham points.
I understand Wyndham will roll the points into RCI deposits. That's what we have done for years.
I just thought there may be other exchange companies that would accept deposits. Maybe I could secure timeshares that those companies could use this year, in exchange for us staying where they have availability in 2011.
I thought someone might know of ways of doing besides using RCI.
If someone wishes an available Wyndham or Worldmark timeshare (with the week starting in 2010) I'll get to checking availability. Simply PM or email your request. That's one way the points can be used and not expire.
Really, I'm interested in finding ways of doing, other than using RCI.
I have deal with DAE, a while ago. But you will need to reservate a week, give it to DEA. It usually take at least 2 to 3 weeks for them to get verification. So we were looking at X'Mas reservation time frame. Not to mention if you have not deal with them before, you will need to set up account.
Plus with the new Guest Certification, I am not sure if the whole process are still the same.
Wait till at least 11/15 to see what the change RCI brings than reaccess how you want to deposit to RCI.
You may need to prepare to maybe use some of the points through Plus Partnership (like buying Disney ticket or spend some on the hotel stay although they are not very economic benefits but it is better than just let it waste)
HTSE sounded interested in getting more deposits, you could call them, they do hae a membership charge.
DAE doesn't charge anything to be a member, so I would try calling them to see what yu could do.
the exchange fee is lower with thsese companies and there is no charge for a guest certificate .
I am not sure what Trading Places offers, but it is another option, with lower exchange fees and no guest certificate fee.
