  • Wife broke her foot playing Xbox

My wife was playing with my son jumping around like a kid with the new xbox system, Well she jumped up and her foot went on the side coming down and she broke her foot and sprained her ankle all in one jump. So know she is in a cast for 6 weeks,

She does not need a bell. I am sleeping on the living room floor 3 feet away from her she is on the sofa. Everything is on the first floor including a bathroom and kitchen, She needs to learn how to use the crutchs better then maybr I will get the bell out for her, but I may just remove the little ding that makes it ring

Frank....Ugh!! So sorry to hear that your wife has broken her foot. Having broken various things the past couple of years, I can imagine how difficult this will be for her. Wishing her a speedy recovery!!

You're very sweet to be sleeping on the living room floor. You're one of the good guys, Frank!

She can recuperate at my house where there is less snow this year.

Sorry to hear about your wife's accident. Borrow an air bed to sleep on, it is better than the hard floor.

Sorry to hear this Frank. It will be a long process for her - I did this once so know the feeling (not playing xbox but just as dumb, running down some stairs). She's lucky she has you to help her out around the house! Speedy recovery to all!

This is so sweet. What a good husband you are.

Sorry to hear about the foot. Bad sprains can hurt much worse than breaks!

Ouch! This will get you all some laughs once she feels better, though.

Will she be able to go to work next week?

It's not a bad thing for you to be such a good hubby, but I do hope she starts feeling better soon!

On a tangential note, is the new XBOX like a Wii?

eta: Frank, I have an aerobed you can borrow - let me know if you want it, I can get it to you tomorrow.

So sorry to hear this. You are a good hubby. Best wishes to Jackie for a speedy recovery. When I had knee surgery I was on crutches for 8 weeks - it was a nightmare because I don't have much upper body strength. I ended up borrowing a small lightweight wheelchair to toodle around in.

Sorry about your wife. I broke my ankle (really bottom of leg bone) a couple of years ago. Rough couple of months, but all is okay now. Good luck to both of you.
