My cousin whose dad just passed on is going to see if there was one at his dad house tomorrow. If he does not have one I will come to you to get it. She is having a hard time hopping around and the cruths are killing her arms,

Now that the holidays are over and my son just left for a week in the Pocono's for snow boarding. Life should be much more simpler now. I hope to keep her on one floor all day now.

I remember when your cousins dad went on hospice - my condolences to your family. Many communities have "lending pantries" where people donate used medical supplies such as walkers - I agree it will be MUCH easier for DW to use. You can also rent one from a local surgical supply company.

        Feel better soon

Joe broke his foot a few years ago...same thing...he stumbled a bit on a staircase and came down on the side of his foot. He was on crutches only for the first couple of weeks and then they put him into this "cam walker". It's a big boot-like thing that allows you to walk a bit while it heals. Hopefully, the kind of break she has will allow for that. It's much easier than crutches or a walker...not pretty and still a pain, but easier.

Hoping for a speedy recovery for you guys.

Just let me know Frank. I'll be over in Glendale this Saturday.

My cousin is going to hopefully get it to me by tonight I hope.

I am not going to be online much in the next few weeks. I am trying to do everything I do daily which is not much and do what my wife does which is keeping me busy. Only time I have is around 2 am when she is sleeping.

Good. It really helps the old balance with the 4 legged stability. You can pick up a wire and plastic basket for her in any medical supply place. They are ~ $20. Can carry around things easily that way.

Don't know if the one on Metro and Continental is still there. Jones?

Glad to hear it, Frank. I hope that it's helping her, and that she's feeling a little better.

If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.

BTW, I'm still keeping track of how many times you annoy me.

Would you believe she just came up with a baslet concoction 5 minutes before I saw your post. You woman are all on the same page.

Right. The basket is to hold all the get well gifts you are going to give her
Really glad to hear she's doing better, Frank.
