Snow for New York metro area AGAIN!

Very little snow in South Jersey and not much predicted. It's done now and may be over. Just enough to make the roads slick. That keeps me in for the day.

early school release. took me an hour instead of typical 20 minutes...very snowy, slick and dangerous. probably about 4 or 5 inches on the ground.

Radio sounds as if the city has gotten nothing. Heck Sleepy Hollow was getting nothing and they are directly east across the Hudson river from me.

We had a messy departure from NYC this morning (was thrilled to not be driving), but it's sunny and lovely here in Philly.

They are saying 5-8" here and a second storm may be following on Saturday night. Been snowing here off and on since early this AM, but not much accumulation yet- heavy snow expected around 3 PM. Frank, you better hide the X box.

DH flying home today from White Plains. He's in the air now but was delayed quite a bit while the runway was plowed so planes could continue landing. That backed things up.

Here in SE FL it rained yesterday, most of the day. We really really needed the rain. It's been chilly all day today. I have to check the forecast to see if we need to cover the plants again. Nnot that it makes much difference. It hard frosted while we were in Orlando 2 weeks ago and everything here is brown and looks like crap.

edit - 2:15 - just started

...and stopped after 15 minutes.

Then snow again from 4:30 to 5:30 - maybe 1/2-1 inch and that was it.

Just enought to make everything look beautiful and the roads VERY slippery.
Glad DD came out on the "canonball express" instead of the luxury bus as there were delays and accidents all over the island.

Hope other made out okay.

Looks like about 5" out there this AM. Next storm is supposed to hit tonight, but is supposed to hit east and south of us.

They are saying it will snow 1 to 3" on Long Island tonight into tomorrow.
Roads are ok now after yesterday.
