320"+ in California
An area about an hour up the hill towards Lake Tahoe adds up each snow fall and claims they have received over 320" of snow this season so far. I am guessing that as a ski area, much of that is compacted on the hills. It just doesn't sound right with I-80 going right past it. You'd think there'd be 20'+ just next to the freeway. I know some of the rains will knock down some of the snow. Just hoping all that snow will not result in any flooding for any of us! It gets so cold for you having the snow. Be safe and warm!
