  • Cirque Du Soleil

We just came back from seeing Cirque Du Soleil for the first time. We saw the Corteo version. It was much better than we expected. It was not like a circus but more like an acrobatic performance. They claim it is for adults but IMO I think its suitable for all. If you get a chance to see it please do so. It is worth the high price of admission.

We have been to about 6 performances and were impressed by all of them...they even have a regular show at Sea World in San Diego....Highly recommended.

We attempted to see this show in Orlando and Baltimore. Both times the show was sold out.

Now that it's here in NY, we will definitely get tickets.....

BTW, I'm still keeping track of how many times you annoy me.

The only version I have seen is LaNouba in Orlando last year. I loved it. Couldn't imagine why I waited so long to see it. It was the highlight of my Disney trip.

My wife and I liked LaNouba in Orlando so much that we saw that show twice over a 3 year period. We have also seen KA, and O in Las Vegas, and a couple of the traveling Cirque shows. KA was just OK, but the other shows have been very good. We recently bought tickets to see Corteo when it comes to Boston in September so I'm glad to hear you enjoyed it.

We recently took in the LaNouba in Orlando show. Our first Cirgue Du Soleil. It was very engaging. I hardly blinked an eye for the entire duration. Visually and musically delightful with such tremedously atheletic and graceful performers.

Even though this was the fastest 90 minutes in my life, it was well worth the expense.

It now has me quite interested in seeing other performances.

The wife and I both love Cirque. I enjoyed Orlando but the theaters in Las Vegas are much more impressive and have more comfortable seating. I bought tickets six months in advance and got exactly the type of seating I wanted for "O", "Ka", and "Mystere".

We saw Mystere in Vegas on our last visit, which kept me and my kids entertained. (My poor hubby fell asleep too and he didn' t feel the price of the tickets was worth it.)

Now we just got back this past weekend from SeaWorld in San Diego and saw Cirque de la Mar and he loved it! It is set in the Mission Bay and we saw the last performance of the day, (6:30 pm), because it was just too darn hot throughout the day to sit directly in the sun.

You do not pay an extra fee to see this show at SeaWorld, built right into your ticket!

My husband and I have seen the Orlando Cirque Du Soleil show and Las Vegas "Bellagio" show. By far, we felt the Las Vegas show was topnotched and worth the big ticket price.

Glad to hear all the great reviews since we have ticket for October show in Orlando. I am taking my kids (6 and 12) and my parents. Hope everybody likes it! (it was pretty $$$ for 5 of us)

Glad I'm not the only one that falls asleep when I go to Cirque shows. Did the same thing at Mystere, "o" and one more I can't even remember the name of. Everybody always thinks I'm crazy Hubby is still grousing over the $400 he paid for "O". Must be the beddy bye music or lack of oxygen in Vegas!

                          Yawn!!!
