  • Correct capitalization for Texting

For all you texters out there...

In the world of hi-tech gadgetry, I've noticed that more and
more people who send text messages and emails have long forgotten the "art" of capitalization.

Those of you who fall into this world, please take note of the
statement below. I cannot stress enough how grammar is very important to it.

Capitalization is the difference between helping your Uncle Jack off a horse and helping your uncle jack off a horse.

    Is everybody clear on that?

It's not that they've forgotten any art, it's because they are too stupid to know what to capitalize.

A good reminder. I'm kind of sticky on typing correctly - I do it for a living after all - but must admit I get a bit sloppy sometimes when texting. I'm painfully slow at it already.

Wow, I hate to admit it but never really thought about capitalization being THAT important. Here I thought the english language was already hard enough, now you throw this out there?

Please add the correct punctuation to the following:

woman without her man is nothing
"A man that doesn't spend time with his family, can never be a real man" The Godfather

                    So easy:

Woman: Without her, man is nothing.

Unfortunately I still need context. I wasn't sure if my uncle needed help getting off a horse, killing it, or giving the horse a hand. But I guess if I knew my uncle better I would know what he was trying to do.
