Glad to see the sight is back up & seems to be running smoothly!

    I was getting worried, yesterday!

If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.

BTW, I'm still keeping track of how many times you annoy me.

So, what happened? I had to eat chocolate and drink wine all day to control the DT's!

I need a new job period. Not enough time to go back and read through all the various threads to learn more about how all this stuff works.

I am surprised how many of you access the Internet for personal reasons while at work.

Just so you know we think the problem was found, We did a repair at 4 am so we were down at that time as well. The problem now was the same problem that took us down a few months back.

Not sure if I should take that as a jab or not?

Where I come from we get breaks and lunches. My employer allows access to internet with appropriate usage. We still have sites which are not appropriate such as Facebook and other such social networking sites.

Guess when you become a big kid your employer trusts you to still get your work done. I realize that some people do not consider that to be "professional" however a good employer realizes that this is going to happen anyway.

That's what I should have done.

Don't worry. If you have any questions just ask us again. We don't mind repeating ourselves. At least I don't mind.

I do it while I'm waiting for reports to run that take a few minutes or while answering the phones or when nothing else is happening, it's wasted time anyway waiting so might as well entertain myself or I'd fall asleep.

Like me it sounds like you spend a lot of time on the phone or waiting. For me it is waiting for more work, as it is all assigned by our national heardquarters and I am often waiting for more work items. I am also a great multi-tasker so being on the phone and typing is easy.

Me too. I'm a master multi-tasker. My co-workers are amazed.
I can type an email, answer the phone, run a report and take notes all at the same time. I can even take off at a moments notice to save a life.
Sometimes I even pay my bills and sneak onto the forums at the same time.
My employer is getting 5 employees in one body.
No wonder I'm so exhausted all the time and need to go on vacation.

That's what it looked like from the in-depth error report that I sent off to Ken. Hopefully whatever he did made this DNS error go away for good. The site not working is not healthy for any of the addicts (myself included).

I'm a contractor if I want to fuss around here during work then that's my call. I also check in on work over the weekends to make sure all is well. Again my call. Then there are days when I don't get to the first ex-op because like most grown-ups I can prioritize.
