To participate in this poll would require me to step into a Walmart. Not going to happen.

Are you kidding? How am I going to maintain my girlish figure doing that. Not to mention how it goes against my triathalon training!

Twist and shout is what my DH is usually doing in the bathroom after he eats a bag of Oreos!

                No.

A group of us did it one evening recently in a blind taste test, and were surprised with the results.

To give a hint, we could tell they were different.

Hubby did this test with our 12 year-old grandson last month. The Walmart ones were about 1/2 price and Cameron can sure eat Oreos. Hubby thinks they taste the same and grandson said the Walmart ones crumbled more, but the middle tasted the same. We later slipped some into his Oreo package and he did not complain.

I am not big into the double-stuffed ones - I like the cookie part, not the middle. The cookie part tastes just like Oreos. The ones with chocolate stuffing tasted much like the regular ones.

Hey folks - JLB lives in Walmart country - give him a break! I never set foot in one until I moved to the Lake of the Ozarks in central Missouri in 2002. Then, Walmart became the ONLY store I could go to for groceries and everyday stuff. Now that I live in the Phoenix area, I still go to Walmart for basics and groceries because they are cheaper.

Because a kid'll eat the middle of an Oreo first and save the chocolate cookie outside for last.

I don't buy any of these things although I do love them dunked in coffee or milk. I'm thinking either one would work for that.

Separate cookies. Eat the one the filling did not stick to, along with a sip of Coca Cola or Dr. Pepper. Eat the filling off the other cookie. Eat that cookie along with another sip of Coca Cola or Dr. Pepper.

We also tested the ones from Target'.

Yep - they are everywhere and have grown significantly. More in your territory than mine, but as someone who grew up in Arkansas it has been pretty phenomenal. I moved to Kansas in 1968 and we did not have Walmart in our town until 1988. It was not handy for me, so I did frequent it. We have a Walmart Neighborhood Grocery near us now and we go there a lot. Sam Walton had a great idea and ran with it.

The last time I ate an Oreo it cost me a pint of blood but I got a free Oreo out of it.

Only time I ever eat cookies myself, at least cream filled ones that is. They never have chocolate chip at my Blood Bank.
