  • My Son's Been Drafted By The METS

I wanted to make sure everyone here at Timeshareforums knew the fantastic news about my son being drafted. He was selected by the NY Mets yesterday in Round 33. We are all thrilled, absolutely over the moon. I told him if he makes it big, he can buy me a new timeshare! The scout is coming to our house Sunday with the contract/papers, and then we're going out to dinner. It looks like Teddy'll report next week, not sure where yet. Carol

    Carol,
That is great news and the way there playing he might be wearing a World Series ring soon enough.

              Wonderful !!

Now that's the ONLY New York team that I'll root for. Have liked them since "Le Grand Orange" !

Go Mets (except for that time in '86.........well, bygones.....too painful, I have to lie down now...)

It's a long hard road to getting drafted and only a small percentage get that far. The big next step of getting to the majors is not easy either and life in the minors is not paradise. Good luck to him getting to the top, thouigh.

BTW, I'm still keeping track of how many times you annoy me.

Let us know which farm team he joins so that we can track him.
