Today is the 1 year anniversary of the Minneapolis Tornado.
The neighborhood still shows scars. Houses are still damaged, trees are being replanted but from the air you can see the path of the tornado.
I still need to get roofing done, and a window replaced. Other than that, I am not in too bad of shape, or so I thought.
Last week, I received two citations from the City of Minneapolis:
1) Fence posts without a fence. I was told to either add the rails to make the fence complete or to remove the posts.
Fix: I am pulling them out. When I lived there, it helped keep the riff raff out of the yard. Now that the riff raff lives there, I'll just remove the fence rather than spend money on something that needs extra upkeep.
2) Trees/growth hanging over the sidewalk. They need to be 7 ft over sidewalk or not extend to sidewalk.
Fix: Maybe my lilac trees have started to regrow, otherwise there are no trees in the yard. Guess 2 minutes with a pruner should take care of that citation problem.
