  • My Car Got Hit!!

I was picking Kelli up at work and a customer backed up as I was straightning up and ran into the back of my car. My bumper and side is scratched up & dented and her back door was dented. She said she didn't see me I know it's little but it's bright YELLOW> Thank goodness she was nice & we got a police report. Neither of us got a ticket and we were both civil to each other but oh my poor little car!! Noone was hurt.

They will fix it and you will never it happened.
Good reason to put beepers on all vehicles, just not really loud.

Or back up cameras - those are quiet.

Glad everyone is ok and it was just a minor fender-bender.

So glad you both are OK. It's so much of a hassle to get car repairs done. Hopefully it'll be looking like new soon.

If no one was hurt and everyone was civil, then, that's what matters. They call them accidents for a reason, of course she didn't see, or else she wouldn't have hit you. Keep a smile on your face, there are lots worse things.

Sorry for your car, glad no one was hurt. It is a pain to be without your car when it is in to be fix. Maybe it won't take long and you have rental car on your insurance policy.

As long as you are okay, that is all that matters.

Ask Rapmarks about her car getting hit.

Would you believe I don't have rental coverage and I was thinking just last week that I need it.

I am thankful that this was just a fender bender. This is the 2nd time I've been hit because they didn't "see" me. This could have been so much worse. I worry sometimes when I'm toolin down the interstate with my convertible top down what would happen if I'm in a REAL wreck. shaggy

Many insurance companies offer discounts for taking a driver refresher or defensive driving course for those of us over 50 (or was it 55). It helps us to be better drivers and to see what is around us better and not get into those accidents. I need to take that class.

Shouldn't the other side's insurance need to pay that part? Your report should have both sides' claim. If so, your insurance should just try to get claim for you.
