    The 90's is hardly the previous generation. The comparison is with my generation and my children's generation. The problem started with the "me me generation". However there are exceptions. Our son and his wife definitely sacrifice a great deal for their 3 children ( 8, 4, 2 ).

    Our kids were never latch key kids as my wife was always a homemaker. The same thing is true of our son's wife.
