I've been getting server errors this morning. Just e-mailed quarterbore to give him a head's up. I'll keep my fingers crossed we don't crash before he gets to it.

If you see errors when doing anything in particular can you let me know? I am going to do some quick checks but I can't do a major maintenance right now and I don't want to turn the site off to do this maintenance until I am sure I can focus on doing it quickly and completely while I have the site down.

Expect me to turn the forums off for about half an hour tonight however to check the database. I will post a warning before I shut it down.

I was getting errors trying to access PMs

Clicking on "new posts" as well as trying to open threads. It was pretty bad for a while. And thanks for coming to the rescue!

There was a very minor issue with the PMs table in the database that I fixed. I don't see anything else at the moment that is an obvious issue but I can't run anything on the datasets without risking a crash like last time and I have to interview sereral canidates here this afternoon so I just need to keep an eye on it (with everybodies help) until tonight.

Thanks for the notice that there was an issue and that the PMs could have an issue too.

I tried to log in a few times but got a server error and checked on Facebook and saw that others had the same problem too. It didn't last long. Good luck.

I am going to take the site down in about 5-minutes. The site should not be down very long, I just want to run a couple small scripts to make sure the server is running as it should. Should be back up fairly quick.

OK, all done. Please keep posting if you see issues and it looks like everything is running smooth. I cleaned out a little junk but I don't see any issues in the database itself. I am running backups tonight as well just to be safe however...
