Say it ain't vrai!
The latest airline passenger to go rogue involves French actor Gerard Depardieu who reportedly urinated on the floor of a plane before the Paris-to-Dublin flight took off Tuesday evening, media reports say.
According to a passenger who was interviewed on French radio, Depardieu appeared to have been drinking and said he needed to go to the restroom. Cabin crew members told him to wait until after takeoff. To the astonishment of all, the female passenger identified only as Daniele said, "he stood up and did it [urinated] on the ground."
How did City Jet respond? Well, the airline wouldn't name the passenger, the Associated Press says, but did report said passenger was escorted off the flight. The flight was delayed for two hours for cleanup as well. Here are the lighthearted Tweets from City Jet after the incident:
"As you may have seen on the news, we are busy mopping the floor of one of our planes this morning..."
"We'd also like to remind all passengers that our planes are fully equipped with toilet facilities..."
This incident comes after skier Sandy "Robert" Vietze earlier this month was drunk and urinated on a young girl during a JetBlue flight -- an act that cost him a place on the U.S. Olympic ski team.
Sheesh, can we all just go back to planking?
