    Third in a series.

As VP of BS for my small fam, I spend an inordinate amount of time straightening out the inconsiderate screwups, intentional or otherwise, of just about everyone we do business with, it seems, plus quite a few people we have to deal with.

Banks, lenders, real estate people, insurance companies, neighbors, contractors, heath care providers, utility companies, stores, online retailers . . . it seems like no one is immune from inconsideration toward others.

Today it is trying to straighten out the failure of Auction.com to submit our bid (highest) to Fannie Mae, trying to straighten out the double billing of our DISH service and overbilling of other services by CenturyLink, trying to straighten out the incorrect coding by a health care provider that caused our health insurance company to charge us for a covered benefit, trying to get our cell phone company (17 years with them) to come up with something to keep DW from jumping ship, dealing with inconsiderate neighbors (everyday thing), and fix my lawn mower handle.

Forget the other little things I already had planned to do. It seems like most days are spent dealing with other people's screwups instead of what I really want to do.

Except for Wednesday, when I head off to golf league before the rest of the world can take a bite outta me.

It occurs that there are two choices: keep fighting, or give up and just let everyone jack you around.

Now, back to my lawn mower handle.
