  • septoplasty (and turbinate reduction)

I did it, elective surgery for the first time, very big for being allergic to pain and needles. Needed to correct damage from being beat up by BF so often over the years. Boy, does my nose hurt now!

if you've had it and have any recovery stories, I'm listening.....

I had to look it up and wish you a speedy recovery as it sounds rather painful. I hope that it will not be too bad for you as some of them shared here:

I had it done several years ago. That and several years of allergy shots have made life much more breathable!

I know what you're going through and will pray you heal as fast as is appropriate.

            Blessing friend!

Actually, my world famous surgeon got me through with no outside bruising or black eyes like you give me, BF. So, I'm my normal ugly self on the outside and he says I'm now a lot prettier on the inside, only after the surgery did he admit that it was one of the worst insides he'd seen. It does hurt some and I have relented and am using the pain pills, and I'm not looking forward to the splint removal.

If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.

BTW, I'm still keeping track of how many times you annoy me.

it's terrible when BF treats you so poorly, isn't it Big Frank?
splints came out very easily, hopefully I'll be able to blow my nose in a few weeks! Thanks for all the well wishes and concerns about my boyfriend?
