My daughter's photo just won a Red Lobster photo contest..

This is my oldest daughter (now 16) and a friend at Daytona Beach.. I'd submitted it on a whim to a photo contest sponsored by Red Lobster and it won! Just thought I'd share my good luck and beautiful daughter!

Very nice photo.
To me, much more creative and beautiful pictures can be taken with Black and White film and now digital settings. This picture just proves the point.

I no longer enter photo contests. Years ago I entered one and they said I was a finalist and my picture would be going in a book.It ended up that it was a ploy to get me to buy the book. I tried for years to have them stop emailing me but after a few weeks they would start up again. I did some research and found thousands of people in the same boat. Not sure how it stopped but it did.

I am happy that your daughter won. At least it may now be safe to jump back in to enter a photo contest again.
